1And this

2And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil:

3And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.

4And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.

5And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:

6And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.

7Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour

8And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.

9And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest’s office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

10And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

11And thou shalt kill the bullock before the LORD,

12And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put

13And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul

14But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it

15Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

16And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle

17And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put

18And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it

19And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

20Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put

21And thou shalt take of the blood that

22Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the

23And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that

24And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them

25And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn

26And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration, and wave it

27And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration,

28And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it

29And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons’ after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

30And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy

31And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.

32And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that

33And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate

34And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it

35And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all

36And thou shalt offer every day a bullock

37Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

38Now this

39The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

40And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine

41And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

42This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations

43And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and

44And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest’s office.

45And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

46And they shall know that I

1And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest`s office: take one young bullock and two rams without blemish,

2and unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened mingled with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of fine wheaten flour shalt thou make them.

3And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.

4And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water.

5And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod;

6and thou shalt set the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.

7Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.

8And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.

9And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and bind head-tires on them: and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

10And thou shalt bring the bullock before the tent of meeting: and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock.

11And thou shalt kill the bullock before Jehovah, at the door of the tent of meeting.

12And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger; and thou shalt pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.

13And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul upon the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.

14But the flesh of the bullock, and its skin, and it dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin-offering.

15Thou shalt also take the one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.

16And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take its blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.

17And thou shalt cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its inwards, and its legs, and put them with its pieces, and with its head.

18And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering unto Jehovah; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

19And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.

20Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of its blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

21And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons` garments with him.

22Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),

23and one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Jehovah.

24And thou shalt put the whole upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and shalt wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah.

25And thou shalt take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar upon the burnt-offering, for a sweet savor before Jehovah: it is an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

26And thou shalt take the breast of Aaron`s ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave-offering before Jehovah: and it shall be thy portion.

27And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave-offering, and the thigh of the heave-offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:

28and it shall be for Aaron and his sons as [their] portion for ever from the children of Israel; for it is a heave-offering: and it shall be a heave-offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, even their heave-offering unto Jehovah.

29And the holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.

30Seven days shall the son that is priest in his stead put them on, when he cometh into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.

31And thou shalt take the ram of consecration, and boil its flesh in a holy place.

32And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting.

33And they shall eat those things wherewith atonement was made, to consecrate [and] to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.

34And if aught of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

35And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.

36And every day shalt thou offer the bullock of sin-offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou makest atonement for it; and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.

37Seven days thou shalt make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

38Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually.

39The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

40and with the one lamb a tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering.

41And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meal-offering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering thereof, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

42It shall be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, where I will meet with you, to speak there unto thee.

43And there I will meet with the children of Israel; and [the Tent] shall be sanctified by my glory.

44And I will sanctify the tent of meeting, and the altar: Aaron also and his sons will I sanctify, to minister to me in the priest`s office.

45And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

46And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Jehovah their God.

1“Now this is what you are to do for them to consecrate them so that they may minister as my priests. Take a young bull and two rams without blemish;

2and bread made without yeast, and perforated cakes without yeast mixed with oil, and wafers without yeast spread with oil—you are to make them using fine wheat flour.

3You are to put them in one basket and present them in the basket, along with the bull and the two rams.

4“You are to present Aaron and his sons at the entrance of the tent of meeting. You are to wash them with water

5and take the garments and clothe Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastpiece; you are to fasten the ephod on him by using the skillfully woven waistband.

6You are to put the turban on his head and put the holy diadem on the turban.

7You are to take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.

8You are to present his sons and clothe them with tunics

9and wrap the sashes around Aaron and his sons and put headbands on them, and so the ministry of priesthood will belong to them by a perpetual ordinance. Thus you are to consecrate Aaron and his sons.

10“You are to present the bull at the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to put their hands on the head of the bull.

11You are to kill the bull before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting

12and take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; all the rest of the blood you are to pour out at the base of the altar.

13You are to take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the lobe that is above the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.

14But the meat of the bull, its skin, and its dung you are to burn up outside the camp. It is the purification offering.

15“You are to take one ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the ram’s head,

16and you are to kill the ram and take its blood and splash it all around on the altar.

17Then you are to cut the ram into pieces and wash the entrails and its legs and put them on its pieces and on its head

18and burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord, a soothing aroma; it is an offering made by fire to the Lord.

19“You are to take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the ram’s head,

20and you are to kill the ram and take some of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, on the tip of the right ear of his sons, on the thumb of their right hand, and on the big toe of their right foot, and then splash the blood all around on the altar.

21You are to take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on his sons’ garments with him, so that he may be holy, he and his garments along with his sons and his sons’ garments.

22“You are to take from the ram the fat, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the lobe of the liver, the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and the right thigh—for it is the ram for consecration—

23and one round flat cake of bread, one perforated cake of oiled bread, and one wafer from the basket of bread made without yeast that is before the Lord.

24You are to put all these in Aaron’s hands and in his sons’ hands, and you are to wave them as a wave offering before the Lord.

25Then you are to take them from their hands and burn them on the altar for a burnt offering, for a soothing aroma before the Lord. It is an offering made by fire to the Lord.

26You are to take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration; you are to wave it as a wave offering before the Lord, and it is to be your share.

27You are to sanctify the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution, which were waved and lifted up as a contribution from the ram of consecration, from what belongs to Aaron and to his sons.

28It is to belong to Aaron and to his sons from the Israelites, by a perpetual ordinance, for it is a contribution. It is to be a contribution from the Israelites from their peace offerings, their contribution to the Lord.

29“The holy garments that belong to Aaron are to belong to his sons after him, so that they may be anointed in them and consecrated in them.

30The priest who succeeds him from his sons, when he first comes to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place, is to wear them for seven days.

31“You are to take the ram of the consecration and cook its meat in a holy place.

32Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that was in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

33They are to eat those things by which atonement was made to consecrate and to set them apart, but no one else may eat them, for they are holy.

34If any of the meat from the consecration offerings or any of the bread is left over until morning, then you are to burn up what is left over. It must not be eaten, because it is holy.

35“Thus you are to do for Aaron and for his sons according to all that I have commanded you; you are to consecrate them for seven days.

36Every day you are to prepare a bull for a purification offering for atonement. You are to purify the altar by making atonement for it, and you are to anoint it to set it apart as holy.

37For seven days you are to make atonement for the altar and set it apart as holy. Then the altar will be most holy. Anything that touches the altar will be holy.

38“Now this is what you are to prepare on the altar every day continually: two lambs a year old.

39The first lamb you are to prepare in the morning, and the second lamb you are to prepare around sundown.

40With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.

41The second lamb you are to offer around sundown; you are to prepare for it the same meal offering as for the morning and the same drink offering, for a soothing aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

42“This will be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you to speak to you there.

43There I will meet with the Israelites, and it will be set apart as holy by my glory.

44“So I will set apart as holy the tent of meeting and the altar, and I will set apart as holy Aaron and his sons that they may minister as priests to me.

45I will reside among the Israelites, and I will be their God,

46and they will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out from the land of Egypt, so that I may reside among them. I am the Lord their God.

1“This is the thing that you shall do to them to make them holy, to minister to me in the priest’s office: take one young bull and two rams without defect,

2unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil: you shall make them of fine wheat flour.

3You shall put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bull and the two rams.

4You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

5You shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the coat, the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastplate, and clothe him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod;

6and you shall set the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban.

7Then you shall take the anointing oil, and pour it on his head, and anoint him.

8You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.

9You shall clothe them with belts, Aaron and his sons, and bind headbands on them: and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute: and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

10“You shall bring the bull before the Tent of Meeting: and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.

11You shall kill the bull before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

12You shall take of the blood of the bull, and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.

13You shall take all the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.

14But the meat of the bull, and its skin, and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside of the camp: it is a sin offering.

15“You shall also take the one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

16You shall kill the ram, and you shall take its blood, and sprinkle it around on the altar.

17You shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its innards, and its legs, and put them with its pieces, and with its head.

18You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to Yahweh; it is a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

19“You shall take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.

20Then you shall kill the ram, and take some of its blood, and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

21You shall take of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be made holy, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.

22Also you shall take some of the ram’s fat, the fat tail, the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),

23and one loaf of bread, one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Yahweh.

24You shall put all of this in Aaron’s hands, and in his sons’ hands, and shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

25You shall take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar on the burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma before Yahweh: it is an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

26“You shall take the breast of Aaron’s ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before Yahweh: and it shall be your portion.

27You shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the thigh of the wave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:

28and it shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion forever from the children of Israel; for it is a wave offering: and it shall be a wave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their wave offering to Yahweh.

29“The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.

30Seven days shall the son who is priest in his place put them on, when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the holy place.

31“You shall take the ram of consecration, and boil its meat in a holy place.

32Aaron and his sons shall eat the meat of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

33They shall eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate and sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat of it, because they are holy.

34If anything of the meat of the consecration, or of the bread, remains to the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

35“You shall do so to Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. You shall consecrate them seven days.

36Every day you shall offer the bull of sin offering for atonement: and you shall cleanse the altar, when you make atonement for it; and you shall anoint it, to sanctify it.

37Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

38“Now this is that which you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually.

39The one lamb you shall offer in the morning; and the other lamb you shall offer at evening:

40and with the one lamb a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering.

41The other lamb you shall offer at evening, and shall do to it according to the meal offering of the morning, and according to its drink offering, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

42It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you.

43There I will meet with the children of Israel; and the place shall be sanctified by my glory.

44I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar: Aaron also and his sons I will sanctify, to minister to me in the priest’s office.

45I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

46They shall know that I am Yahweh their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Yahweh their God.

Summary

God prescribes the consecration ceremony for Aaron and his sons as priests, including sacrifices and the promise to dwell among Israel.

Authorship & Background

Author: Moses (see Chapter 1 notes for full authorship details).
Historical Context: Chapter 29 describes the seven-day consecration ceremony for Aaron and his sons — the ordination of Israel's priesthood. The ceremony involves washing, clothing, anointing, and three sacrifices: a sin offering (bull), a burnt offering (first ram), and a consecration/ordination offering (second ram). Blood is applied to the priests' right ear, right thumb, and right big toe — consecrating what they hear, what they do, and where they go. The chapter concludes with God's magnificent promise: "I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God" (v.45). The entire Tabernacle system exists for one purpose: God dwelling with His people.
The Consecration Ceremony (vv.1-9): Requirements: one bull, two rams without blemish, unleavened bread/cakes/wafers (vv.1-3). Aaron and sons are washed at the Tabernacle entrance (v.4). Aaron is dressed in the priestly garments (vv.5-6), anointed with oil (v.7). His sons are dressed (vv.8-9). "The priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute" (v.9).
The Sin Offering (vv.10-14): Aaron and sons lay hands on the bull's head — identification/transfer of sin (v.10). The bull is killed; blood goes on the altar's horns and base (vv.11-12). Fat burned on the altar; flesh burned outside the camp (vv.13-14). "It is a sin offering" (v.14).
The Burnt Offering (vv.15-18): Hands laid on the first ram (v.15). Killed; blood sprinkled on the altar (v.16). Cut in pieces; entirely burned (vv.17- 18). "A sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD" (v.18).
The Ram of Consecration (vv.19-28): Hands laid on the second ram (v.19). Blood applied to the right ear, right thumb, right big toe of Aaron and sons (v.20). Blood and oil sprinkled on them and their garments (v.21). Fat, bread, and the right shoulder waved before the LORD (vv.22-25). The breast becomes the priest's portion (vv.26-28).
Seven Days of Consecration (vv.29-37): The ceremony repeats for seven days (v.35). A bull offered daily for atonement (v.36). The altar itself is consecrated: "whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy" (v.37).
The Daily Offerings (vv.38-46): Two lambs daily — morning and evening (v.38). With flour, oil, and wine (vv.40-41). "A continual burnt offering throughout your generations" (v.42). God's promise: "I will meet you... I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God" (vv.42, 45-46).

Map & Geography

  • Israel remains encamped at Mount Sinai. The priestly ordination ceremony instructions are given on the mountain.
  • "At the door of the tabernacle of the congregation" (v.4): All consecration occurs at the Tabernacle entrance — the meeting point between God and man.

Commentary

  • Enduring Word (David Guzik): enduringword.com Guzik covers the consecration ceremony as a picture of the believer's sanctification, the blood on ear/thumb/toe as total consecration, and the daily offerings as pointing to Christ's once-for-all sacrifice.
  • Charles Spurgeon: Sermon: "The Blood on the Ear, Hand, and Foot" on v.20 (MTP Vol. 19, No. 1136) "The right EAR — consecrate what you hear. Listen to God, not the world. The right THUMB — consecrate what you do. Work for God, not self. The right great TOE — consecrate where you go. Walk in God's paths, not your own. Blood on the ear, blood on the hand, blood on the foot — the whole person, from hearing to doing to walking, covered by atoning blood and set apart for God. Christian, you are not your own. Your ears belong to Christ. Your hands belong to Christ. Your feet belong to Christ. Every faculty, every action, every step — consecrated by blood."

Reflection

  • 1. "I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God" (v.45). This is the purpose of EVERYTHING — the Tabernacle, the priesthood, the sacrifices. God wants to live with you. Do you want to live with Him?
  • 2. Blood on the ear, thumb, and toe (v.20). Your whole life is consecrated: what you listen to, what you do with your hands, where your feet take you. Is every part of your life under Christ's lordship?
  • 3. The priests were washed BEFORE being clothed (v.4). Cleansing precedes service. You can't serve God effectively while carrying unconfessed sin. Let Him wash you first.
  • 4. Seven days of consecration (v.35). Sanctification takes time — it's not instant. God works in you progressively. Be patient with the process.
  • 5. "That I may dwell among them" (v.46). God brought Israel out of Egypt FOR THIS — not just freedom from slavery but fellowship with Himself. Your salvation is not just escape from hell — it's entrance into God's presence. Are you living in that presence daily?
